VirtualRehab 3.0 At UCL’S Upper Limb Neurorehabilitation Course

VirtualRehab 3.0 At UCL’S Upper Limb Neurorehabilitation Course

VirtualRehab will be shown at the 3rd Annual Queen Square Upper Limb course in London at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery on July 2nd and 3rd . This year’s theme is “Treating patients with upper limb deficit: Integrating research into practice”.

The two day course provides therapists with an overview of current research looking at treatment and rehabilitation options for the neurological patient with upper limb deficient. The course aims to assist in the integration and translation of scientific evidence into clinical practice.

Course lecturers are from The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Institute of Neurology in London, and include leading researchers in upper limb research in neurological patients. One of the presentations in the Programme will include Computer games like VirtualRehab for neurorehabilitation.

Therapists will get a chance to personally try out VirtualRehab 3.0, the rehabilitation gaming software for upper and lower limb rehabilitation and fine motor skills retraining of the hands. VirtualRehab has been successfully used by stroke survivors at the Queen Square Neurorehabilitation over the past year.

This is the second year the Virtualware will participate after last year’s very successful event, which generated a great deal of interest in VirtualRehab from around the UK.
